Hand models must have well manicured and healthy nails and cuticles, moisturized and blemish free skin, and typically have long thin, fingers of equal proportions. Hand modeling opportunities exist in television, commercials, magazine advertisements, and online marketing. A hand model usually will use their beautiful hands when they must work to sell and market a product with the consumer's focus on the model's hands. Hand models will display products and fashion accessories such as lotions, hand creams, hygiene products, jewelry, watches, and nail polish. They may be selected to model a specific product because the advertiser must get a close up of the product in the hands of the model and the primary focus of the consumer will be on the model’s hands.
