The cost of living is fairly cheap in Syracuse and if you can survive the cold, you may get a few days off from work for snow days. Syracuse is a city of beautiful old architecture and lots of students willing and able to work. Although Syracuse has nice weather 6 months out of the year, that leaves 6 months where it's going to be a lot of indoor and studio work. But Syracuse is a creative city and between the old diners and steel manufacturing plants, there's a great proud city full of opportunity. The city will hold lots of jobs with those willing to work with students and smaller amateur photographers. Although the city has stayed relatively the same over the past 20 years, the demand for models has increased because of the expansion of the fine arts and media programs.
